New 2020 Categories

This year’s Awards for Excellence in Recycling & Waste Management will see the addition of two new categories to recognise and celebrate the exceptional work that the waste and recycling sector has undertaken in response to the coronavirus pandemic. 

 

BEST PROJECT, PARTNERSHIP, CAMPAIGN OR INITIATIVE IN RESPONSE TO THE CORONAVIRUS PANDEMIC 

This award will recognise the best project, campaign or programme delivered in response to the coronavirus pandemic. This could be from the public, private sector, community group or third sector - as a partnership entry. 

 

INDIVIDUAL OR TEAM CONTRIBUTION IN RESPONSE TO THE CORONAVIRUS PANDEMIC

 

This award recognises an individual or group of individuals who have shown commitment and spirit in response to the coronavirus pandemic. Entries will be accepted from anyone involved in running a waste and recycling collection service and could be someone from a local authority, waste management business or service industry.

  • Entry to the awards is FREE

  • You must submit a 500 word summary with supporting information about how the entrant(s) have achieved their success for each entry. Please note the word limit for the entry summary is strictly 500 words.​

  • Only six pages of supporting material will be accepted – this should be collated into a single six page document.
